Most people have their bow rehaired once or twice a year. Sometimes it is necessary to rehair the bow with drastic seasonal changes in temperature and humidity.

Strings should be changed yearly at minimum, but if you practice more than one hour a day, they may need to be changed more often (ie. 6 months).

If you have a teacher, they can tell you which size you may need, but you can come into the shop at any time to be measured as well.

If you know you are going to stick with one instrument for more than 18 months, purchase may be a better option. Keep in mind that we offer trade in program with our instruments.
